One woman was taken by ambulance to Muskogee Regional Medical Center after a four-vehicle accident on U.S. 69 and West Okmulgee Avenue.
Police were sorting out statements at 10:30 a.m., but said it appeared a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, a silver car and a blue Ford pickup going south in the west lane of U.S. 69 were stopped when the accident occurred.
An 85-year-old Muskogee man driving a 2003 Buick Century, also driving south, tried to stop. The Buick ran into the back of a silver car, which was pushed into the rear end of the motorcycle.
The Century swerved right in an effort to miss the silver car when it ran into the left rear fender of the Ford pickup truck, police said.
A female passenger in the Buick, name unknown at this time, was taken to Muskogee Regional Medical Center.
