Local physician arrested on sexual battery complaint

A Muskogee physician was arrested Tuesday on a complaint of sexual battery.

Dr. Hubert Watty, 46, of Fort Gibson was arrested at his office at the Agape Medical Clinic on Tuesday afternoon by the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force, said Darrin Berry of the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force.

The warrant for Watty’s arrest was issued at 3 p.m., and Watty was in custody by 3:30 p.m.

Watty was booked into the Muskogee County/City Detention Facility and was released on a $15,000 bond.
