Three people were injured Tuesday after a driver hit a patch of ice and lost control of the vehicle she was driving, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report said.
Kathy Snyman, 50, of Hulbert was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Her condition was unavailable.
Her passengers, Angela Snyman, 20, and Teresa Snyman, 10, were both treated at Tahlequah City Hospital and released, the report states.
According to the trooper’s report, Kathy Snyman was driving a 2003 Toyota Tundra pickup about one-half mile north of Tahlequah on a Cherokee County road at approximately 9:30 a.m. when the crash happened. She was driving eastbound, struck a patch of ice and lost control. She ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree. Everyone was wearing a seat belt, and the driver’s side airbag did deploy.
