The Eastern Oklahoma Development District and the Wagoner Family Service Council announce the Senior Citizens Spelling Bee, honoring May as Older Oklahomans Month.
The bee is at 2 p.m. May 6 at the Wagoner Civic Center, 301 S. Grant Ave., and participants are needed.
Those eligible must be 60 or older and live in Adair, Cherokee, McIntosh, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Sequoyah or Wagoner counties. The top five places will be awarded trophies.
