A fire destroyed a home at 1721 Martin Luther King St., at approximately 10:35 Thursday morning.
When the family arrived to see firefighters at work, they broke into tears.
Muskogee Fire Department Captain Robert Conley said when the fire department arrived, they could see flames in two places.
“There were flames on the northwest corner and impinging flames at the west windows,” he said.
