The Muskogee County Republican Committee will be awarding two $500 college scholarships to Muskogee County students. To qualify, the student must have at least a 3.0 grade point average in the senior year, must be a registered Republican if age 18 (if not 18, one parent must be a registered Republican), and must be a first-year freshman in fall 2013. Applications: www.muskogeerepublicans.com.
Students who meet the criteria may hand the application to an officer of the Muskogee County Republican Committee or mail it to P.O. Box 2278, Muskogee OK 74402 by April 5.
