Conference to help area caregivers

— Eastern Oklahoma Development District/Area Agency on Aging will hold the 2013 Speak from the Heart Caregiver Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 28 at Crescent Valley Baptist Church, 25641 S. Crescent Valley Road, Tahlequah.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The conference is free, and there will be a light breakfast and lunch provided.

Topics include:

• What you can expect with Alzheimer’s and dementia?

• Making time for yourself.

• The importance of a safety net/healthy relationships.

Register by March 22.
