Oktaha High band to practice Aug. 13 to 16

— Oktaha High School Band will hold summer practices from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 13 to 16 in the band room. Students who cannot attend or who need instruments or supplies should contact Band Director Jerry Cooper at (918) 687-3672, Ext.. 233.

Students interested in joining the fifth- and sixth-grade band can try out instruments after school starts Aug. 20. Saied Music Co. of Tulsa will be at the band room from 3 to 6 p.m. Aug. 23 to present its instrument rental program.

Oktaha Schools has instruments for use at no charge. People interested in the elementary band may contact Cooper.
