Nearly 30 Tahlequah High School art students of Anthony Amason and Shivani Chase had their work accepted into the “Celebrating Art” National Art Contest.
The students entered two- and three- dimensional works, including drawings, paintings, ceramics and sculpture.
Their work will be showcased in a hardbound book to be published early in the spring of 2013.
The students are: James Andrew, Alexandria Bennett, Samanna Bennett, Genevieve Biggers, Will Breshears, Chase Brose, Lucy Cao, Tiffany Cochran, Brittanie Copeland, Alexis Girdner, Yecenia Gonzalez, Drake Haworth, Thao Hoang, Brittney Hogan, Brooke Hunter, Aaron Ketcher, Jayden Littlechief, Ian McAlpine, Maribel Miranda, Paola Olivas, Telika Oropeza, Colby Reed, William Shatwell, Darien Taylor, Alexandria Tharp and Megan Zimbleman.
