Arrowhead Mall filed a lawsuit against a vendor, claiming it is owed more than $75,000 as a result of a breach of provisions of the vendor’s lease.
According to a petition filed Monday in Muskogee County District Court, the lease included terms that required Gamestop Inc., to pay 5 percent of its annual gross sales in excess of $550,000 to Arrowhead Mall.
Arrowhead Mall contends sales at Gamestop’s new store on Shawnee Bypass should be included in gross sales identified in the lease agreement.
Gamestop officials failed to respond to requests for comment. Arrowhead Mall is demanding an accounting of sales for Gamestop’s second store and what it considers its share of the vendor’s gross sales.
