A silver Dodge Ram pickup sits on the side of the road near the Oklahoma 16 and Oklahoma 72 intersection. The pickup, driven by Kay Bolding of Haskell, was northbound on Oklahoma 72 when it struck a white Toyota Tundra pickup driven by Tony McClure of Tulsa. Bolding was taken to Muskogee Regional Medical Center where she was treated and released Thursday. McClure, who wasn’t injured in the crash, said he attempted to swerve to miss Bolding’s pickup, but was struck in the driver’s side. McClure’s pickup traveled more than 100 feet into a field before coming to a stop. “I ride my Harley (Davidson motorcycle) all the time, so I’m used to being on the lookout when I’m on the road,” McClure said. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Scott Miller said Bolding would be cited either for failure to yield at a stop sign or failure to stop at a stop sign.
