Afternoon collision

— The passenger, who was in a car that was sideswiped Tuesday afternoon, is placed on a stretcher before being taken to a nearby ambulance. The collision happened about 3 p.m. at 16th Street and West Okmulgee Avenue. Dylan Wilson, 17, attempted to turn right onto 16th Street from the left lane and hit the blue Chevy Malibu, which then hit a curb near a utility pole, police said. Both the driver and the passenger of the Malibu were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Wilson was uninjured.
