P.M. UPDATE: Three Rivers Museum history explorers to meet Tuesday night

Three Rivers Museum's History Explorers will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at 220 Elgin St.

Glenn Smith and Roger Bell will present the program on the Jefferson Highway, the first north/south highway built in North America. The Jefferson Highway passed through Muskogee, beginning in Winnipeg, Canada, and ending in New Orleans. Muskogee pioneers played important parts in the construction of the highway through Oklahoma.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
