• Consider approval of a resolution requesting Oklahoma Municipal League to support legislation for the 2012 State of Oklahoma Legislative Session.

• Discussion and provide direction to staff on downtown beautification program.

• Consider extending the agreement with Lisa Raasch to serve as Community Wellness Program Coordinator for the City of Muskogee Wellness Initiative Coalition.

• Consider approval of an ordinance amending the City of Muskogee Code of Ordinances, concerning smoking in public places, and possession of lighted tobacco on certain places.

FINANCE COMMITTEE

• Approval of the best and lowest bid for the following pollution control chemicals: Liquid polymer, sodium bisulfite, liquid ferrous chloride, anti-foam, liquid ferric chloride, soda ash, sodium bicarbonate, and calcium hypochlorite.

• Approval of receiving donated funds for June 2011 for the city’s animal shelter sponsorship program.

• Approval of an ordinance repealing Section 14-131, dog license fee, registration and tag generally.

• Approval to enter into an agreement with Suddenlink Communications to provide network connectivity for all city facilities, replacing the existing high-frequency radio network at a rate of $5,749.25 per month.

• Agreement with Suddenlink Communications to provide internet services to the city of Muskogee for $700 per month.
