BREAKING NEWS: Prominent Muskogee businessman James Hodge loses battle with cancer

— James Hodge, a prominent Muskogee businessman, has lost his battle with cancer, Mark Ford said.

Ford, general manager at James Hodge Ford, said Hodge's condition began deterioriating after a car wreck earlier this year. "He was actually responding well to the treatment," Ford said late Friday. "But he had the car accident and then everything just compounded."

Hodge also owned James Hodge Hyundai in Muskogee.
