Samantha Lay, a recent University of Central Oklahoma graduate from Muskogee, received the 2012-13 E.C. Hall Award from UCO’s Jackson College of Graduate Studies for her scholastic achievements.
The E.C. Hall Award is presented each year to the graduate student with the highest academic record.
Lay graduated with a bachelor's degree in speech pathology in 2010 and then earned a master's degree in speech pathology from the university in 2012. She maintained a 3.86 GPA in her undergraduate coursework and a 4.0 grade point average throughout her masters degree programs.
Recently Lay accepted employment with Norman Public Schools.
