A special account has been set up to help pay for medical expenses for a teenager who was brutally beaten.
Court documents state that Thomas McKinney struck Cody Combs, 19, with brass knuckles early this month.
An Armstrong Bank spokeswoman said anyone can contribute to the account at any branch by asking to make a deposit into the Cody Jordan Combs Special Account.
McKinney is in the Muskogee County/City Detention Facility on $25,000 bond. He has a sounding docket set for 9 a.m. Aug. 22 to set a date for a preliminary hearing.
