A Veterans Day parade will go through downtown Checotah at 9 a.m. Friday.
The parade will include a ceremony at the intersection of Gentry and Broadway. There will be a recognition of the armed forces and patriotic music sung by the Checotah High School Choir. The 138th Tactical Fighter Wing of the Oklahoma Air National Guard will have a flyover.
