A Tahlequah man pleaded guilty to conspiracy in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, according to a media release.
David Allen Keys, 44, pleaded guilty to distributing crack cocaine “on or about March 14.”
Charges against Keys arose from an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ Violent Crime Task Force, which includes the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, District 27 District Attorney’s Drug Task Force, the Tahlequah Police Department and the Muskogee Police Department.
The statutory range of punishment for conspiracy is up to five years in prison and/or a $250,000 fine.
