Catherine “Kitty” Brown of Fort Gibson won $10,000 playing Powerball. She purchased her winning ticket at Fort Quick Stop, 1600 S. Lee St. in Fort Gibson.
A regular Lottery player, Brown was excited to win and eager to keep playing.
“I’ve already purchased my ticket for the next drawing,” she said. “You never know, I could win again.”
Brown received her winning numbers through Quick Pick and plays the Lottery knowing it helps support Oklahoma education.
“I think it’s great.” Brown said. “I know I have put a few pennies their way.”
