OKLAHOMA CITY — Among the 50 upcoming high school seniors from across the state who graduated from Youth Leadership Oklahoma’s Class IX on June 12 were a number of students from the Muskogee area.
The following is a list of the YLOK Class IX graduates from the Muskogee area: Kendra Baize, Gore; Alison Barton, Muskogee; Bailey Brown, Fort Gibson; Chelsey Puckett, Muskogee; Emily Sewell, Wagoner; D.J. Worth, Tahlequah.
These students were selected based on demonstrated leadership in their schools and communities.
The weeklong program began in Oklahoma City and concluded on the grounds of the governor’s mansion. Other locations visited included Enid, Stillwater, Hobart, Ada, Ardmore, and Norman. At each location, YLOK Class IX learned about Oklahoma’s resources, issues and treasures, met with state leaders and further developed their own leadership skills.
