Jackie L. Borovetz, 57, was sentenced in federal court Wednesday to 51 months in federal prison for one count of wire fraud in connection with the Internet transfer of public money she embezzled.
She was ordered to pay $595,250.32 in restitution and will serve three years of supervised release once she is out of prison.
She still faces 11 felony counts in state court involving the embezzlement of just under $600,000 from the Muskogee County District Court Clerk’s office. She was a bookkeeper in the office.
