Smaller government, less regulations, fewer government agencies, fewer government employees all sounds great right? Consider these factors, 215 cases and 15 dead due to meningitis outbreak caused by pharmacies with little or no federal oversight. Millions of pounds of beef, eggs, melons, and peanut butter recalled due to salmonella contamination. Federal inspectors are at an all-time low in all these industries.
Close the EPA (Environment Protection Agency). Who needs clean rivers, streams, oceans, and air. Close the FDA (Federal Drug Administration) as well because we want cheap pills not safe one’s.
The United States spends seven times more than any other country in the world on our military. Mitt Romney wants to increase the military budget by $2 trillion. Keep in mind the Pentagon has not requested any additional funds.
Most of us are concerned by the large federal deficit. One fact that surprised me is only two presidents out of the last six has reduced the deficit and they are Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. Check the record if you do not believe me.
Just a few things to think about before you vote.
