I support the city and its code enforcement efforts, but I have a problem with how it's being done. Six weeks ago, it had rained for the better part of twoweeks. I was unable to mow my lawn. I reieved a threatening notice about my lawn. I took care of the problem the very next day. Apparently several of my neighbors on my street also received notices, too. there were several lawns being mowed that day.
Instead of going after homeowners who were simply unable to mow because of the weather, this program could go after true negligent property owners who do nothing to take care of their property.
