“Food by the Book,” written by Melony Carey, is a treat to read. Carey has great insights and does a beautiful job blending the thread of the story to the different foods, as well as providing pictures of the dish and the recipe! The blog that she and Chrissie Wagner write, “The Care and Feeding of Teenagers,” is also insightful, touching, sometimes humorous and informative.
Molly Day’s gardening adventure, “All the Dirt on Gardening” articles and blog are wonderful as well. They almost make me want to get up off the couch and play in the dirt.
The Phoenix is fortunate to have these great local writers.
