THE PEOPLE SPEAK – Sexton right candidate for court clerk’s office

This is a letter in support of Paula Sexton for Court Clerk. There is much rhetoric about the scandal in the Court Clerk’s office several years ago.

Why would someone keep bringing up old news when the people who were responsible for the embezzlement are in jail. As soon as it became clear there was a flaw in the system, Mrs. Sexton set forth to improve the system. As far as the insurance payments, things are not always as easy as they seem. This is true when different entities and offices are involved. These steps again are to ensure that everyone “is playing by the rules.”

Mrs. Sexton has many issues to watch over and care for daily. Mr. Blankenship, to my knowledge, has never been directly responsible for the number of people that is required in the Court Clerk’s office.

It’s a part of Mrs. Sexton’s job to see that everyone is taken care if, people of all races, sizes, genders, and of any occupation. For the people that don’t know, Mrs. Sexton’s job involves assisting the lawyers with the needs that arise on different cases.
