THE PEOPLE SPEAK – Support pro-life on Rose Day

Each year Oklahomans have the opportunity to express their belief in the sanctity of human life to their legislators during the 22nd annual Rose Day, Feb. 6 at the state Capitol in Oklahoma City. The keynote speaker this year is Lila Rose, a recent UCLA graduate, who has dedicated herself since she was 15 to building a culture of life and ending abortion. The event begins with registration then delivering roses from 9:30-11:30 a.m. to their representative, senator, lieutenant governor and governor. Attendees bring their own long stem roses. This action by We, The People from all over the state gather, by the hundreds, at the Capitol at the beginning of the new legislative session to promote and support the lives of unborn babies when giving the roses to our elected officials.

At age 15, Lila Rose founded LIVE ACTION, a pro-life nonprofit organization that specializes in investigative journalism, media and youth education. LIVE  ACTION  works to expose abuses in the abortion industry and advocate for human rights for the pre-born. Rose currently serves as president of this organization, having led numerous undercover investigations exposing corruption and illegal activity at Planned Parenthood, the nation's biggest abortion chain. Her work has documented rampant sexual abuse cover-up, racism as in discrimination toward African-American babies, dispensing inaccurate medical misinformation, assistance to sex traffickers, and false statements made by PP officials.

Over 50 million unborn babies have gone into eternity since Roe vs. Wade legitimized abortion.  Many mothers have also been injured and some fatally. PP takes advantage of uninformed, young girls and women who voluntarily or by coercion seek help with a crisis pregnancy; they are told this procedure (abortion) will be the solution to their problem pregnancy. Rose is a national and international pro-life speaker and  author. More information about attending this inspiring event, call (918) 577-6352.
