When Joshua Ashwood refers to the Bible — a seamless document claiming to be God’s Word, and never proven wrong — unbelievers use words of unbelievers to declare God is wrong.
Bob Thompson (online) referred to a website which speculatively asks, did God create earth in six literal days? No, God did it in one. This site theorizes rocks existed long before creation, and God eventually gathered them to “form” everything. In scripture, God created trees bearing fruit. Wouldn’t they immediately appear to be mature? Likewise, we’d expect a mature human, one minute after Adam was created? So maybe the rocks were mature on the first day of creation. However, scientific tests incorporate errant assumptions. For instance, three-year old rock, from Mount St. Helen, was dated as thousands of years old. So, who’s lying?
In the 1970s, a fossil named Lucy was dated over a million years old. When another fossil, considered transitional from Lucy, was dated too close to Lucy’s age, Lucy was retested. Instantly, she was nearly 50 percent older than a day earlier. Which date is correct? They just have to protect the “theory.”
The Theory of Evolution is not science. It’s a secular religion which many people believe and hope to prove by finding evidence. Thus, some claim there are numerous transitional fossils. Seeing two dead things with similar characteristics does not prove anything except they both died. Scientific tests cannot accurately determine their relative ages, let alone, if either had any offspring.
And biology has nothing to do with evolution. All the progress made in biological and medical science could (and should) have been done without any reference to the theory. Trying to support that theory with real science has probably hindered a lot of research.
Many scientists find evidence in their research that shows them evolution does not occur. As former evolutionary scientists, they realize life requires intelligent design. Their research is seldom allowed in mainstream print, since it would destroy the beliefs of the people in control.
As for the six, literal days, that is an eternal, timeless God, creating time.
