THANK YOU

THANK YOU

JERRY AND I say a great big thank you to all the staff at Muskogee Regional Medical Center who are caring for his mom. Everyone is so thoughtful, caring and hardworking. Everyone from the Emergency Room to the Third Floor staff, including EKG, Radiology, laboratory staff, nurses, case managers — we so appreciate you and your wonderful care of patients. It is great to have a local hospital where we can receive care that is better or equal to what we have received in larger cities. Jerry and Sue Campbell Fort Gibson

ON CHRISTMAS EVE at about 10:30 p.m., a water main broke in our area. The city of Muskogee work crews were out immediately to repair it. They worked long into the morning hours, in freezing temperatures, to have the water back on very quickly. Too often people are quick to criticize our city’s crews, but this time there can be no cause for criticism. These crews were taken away from their families on one of the most important holidays of the year to make our holidays enjoyable. For this I and my family want to thank them for a job well done and hope that they had most enjoyable holidays. T. J. Crawford

THANKS TO GRANT Foreman Elementary School First Grade, Mrs. Karen Hixon’s class, Jasmin, Cadynce, Amanda, Aislinn, Yahir, Amber, Adam, Cynsere and Dabne for all the nice pet items they donated to PAWS for Christmas. It was greatly appreciated and enjoyed by the animals. Dorothy Farmer, executive director, PAWS Animal Haven And Adoption Facility

WE THANK ALL of the wonderful people and businesses of Muskogee and the surrounding area that donated to us this year. Because of your generosity we sent needed items to more of our troops this year than ever before. As the mother of a Marine this means a lot. We need to let these men and women know they are important and we appreciate what they are doing for us. We want to especially thank Eastern Star and the Masonic Temple for helping with our Veterans’ Day chili dinner, and all of the merchants that gave so generously items for door prizes for the veterans. Thanks to Central Meat Market and Paul’s Diner for their donations for the dinner. Please continue to remember our troops daily in your prayers. Even though we sent more boxes this year than ever before, please remember that we are sending more troops this year. It costs $11.98 just to mail a box, and the supplies inside cost about $20. So please don’t forget them this year. Janis Upchurch, president, Green Country Chapter 12 Blue Star Mothers
