A FEW WEEKS ago my grandson and I were fishing on the east side of Fort Gibson dam. My fishing line was tangled up, so I stood up, slipped and fell. I caught some vines that kept me from going into the river. I called my grandson and he could not pull me up the bank so he went for help. A little later the Fort Gibson fire and police departments were there plus a lot of other volunteers to help. I don’t know their names or what organizations they were from, but I want to thank all who helped. They are just great people. God bless each one of you. Jack Hughes Jr.
