Muskogee County District 2 Commissioner Stephen Wright stressed his honesty throughout his 2004 and 2008 political campaign articles and speeches.
Oklahoma statutes clearly states that county commissioners shall cause each piece of county-owned road machinery, equipment, automobiles and trucks to be conspicuously and legibly marked, leased by or property of (name and county) on each side in upper case letters on a background of sharply contrasting colors.
So why aren’t the decals on both doors of the county truck that he drives that once said, “Property of Muskogee County District 2”? And he then attended a funeral on Jan. 24 in Haskell driving a county truck.
Hey, commish, you’re not pumping water and building roads at Onapa or Webbers Falls anymore either.
