THE PEOPLE SPEAK: Hold illegal immigrants at military installations
An alternative to holding illegals at city/county jails would be federally transporting them to military bases until deportation.
America used them to house Cuban and Vietnamese during the Carter presidency. This is a federal problem anyway.
Fewer illegals would enter our country if they didn’t already know our local jails are full, and law enforcement people look the other way for this reason when the illegals drive by.
Military bases already have the manpower and holding facilities in place. It would be good training for young military police.
Oklahoma has a good law in place to protect us from illegals. Our federal legislators are afraid of losing the Hispanic vote if they were to support a similar federal law. We send our troops to defend America. Then elect cowards to office. I’m a proud veteran.
