THE PEOPLE SPEAK: 2009 Food safety act should be defeated

The Gestapo food act, H.R. 2749, must be stopped.

It would give some FDA administrator (read self-serving corporate lobbyist) the power to dictate what farming practices must and must not be used nationwide, such as enforced use of genetically modified foods, growth hormones and weird chemicals in our food.

Congress — as it has proved itself since the Obama regime came in —is incapable of making sane food policies without identifying specific problems at their source.

Has not the 20th-century food adulteration, hormonization, sugar and salt loading taught us anything about foods produced by “Too Big Food Business To Control”?
