Weather causes schedule changes

The wintry weather that invaded the area on Monday forced the cancellation of two basketball games and the movement of another.

The games between Connors State and Western State, set for Monday in Altus, will now be played at 5 and 7 p.m. Friday. Today’s Cowboys’ baseball game with Coffeyville Community College has been moved to 2 p.m. March 7 in Warner.

On the prep level, Vian’s girls’ Class 3A Area III regional consolation game, which was to be played Monday in the Muskogee Civic Center, will now be played in Verdigris at 1 p.m. today.
