Notes: Wagoner has won its last two second round playoff games and is 5-2 overall in second round games under coach Dale Condict…Wagoner is 9-1 in home playoff games since 2005…Weatherford is making its 38th playoff appearance. The Eagles are 40-33-2 in playoff games winning championships in 1991, 1992, and 1999.

Notes: Fort Gibson advances to the second round for the first time since 2001…Fort Gibson’s only second round win came against Grove (35-29) in 1999…The Tigers have secured only the third 10-win season in school history – the other two coming in 1997 (10-2) and 1999 (13-1)…Anadarko won its first championship last season while competing in Class 3A.

Notes: Last week’s 35-0 win over Checotah was the first time a Hornet team shut out an opponent in the playoffs…Hilldale has its first 10-win season since 2005 and just its second overall…Verdigris is making its 12th playoff appearance. The Cardinals have made it to the quarterfinals twice.
Keys at No. 5 Metro Christian

Notes: Keys advances to the second round for the second straight year…last week’s 35-point was biggest ever for a Cougar team in the playoffs…Since being shut out 48-0 by Hilldale, the Cougars have averaged 45 points per game in the three games since…Metro Christian is making its 19th playoff appearance. Its best finish was the semifinals in 2010.
No. 6 Berryhill at Stigler
Records: Berryhill 9-1, Stigler 9-2.
Last week: Berryhill 34, Beggs 27; Stigler 55, Jay 28.
Last meeting: Stigler 21, Berryhill 20 (1999).
Series record: Tied, 1-1.
Notes: Stigler advances for the third time in the last four years…Stigler has not advanced past the second round since a 36-12 win over Wagoner in 1965…Berryhill won the only other meeting in 1998 (44-0)…Berryhill is in the playoffs for the 22nd time with a 31-20 record and a state title in 2004.
CLASS 2A
Kansas at No. 1 Vian
Records: Kansas 9-2, Vian 11-0.

Last meeting: Vian 36, Kansas 8 (2009).
Series record: Vian leads, 3-1.
Notes: Two of the previous four meetings came in the playoffs – Vian won a second round meeting in 1982 (42-6) while Kansas took Vian out in the first round in 2002 (42-14)…Vian is playing its sixth second round home game under coach Brandon Tyler. The Wolverines have a 5-1 record…Kansas is making its 21st appearance and have gone as far as the semifinals twice.
CLASS A
Talihina at No. 8 Warner
Records: Talihina 10-1, Warner 11-0.
Last week: Talihina 42, Wewoka 34 (OT); Warner 40, Yale 6.
Last meeting: Talihina 41, Warner 0 (2009).
Series record: Talihina leads, 11-6.
Notes: The only previous playoff meeting between the two came in the first round in 1998. Warner won, 20-0…Warner advances to the second round for the first time since 1998 and only the fourth time overall. Warner won two of the three previous – 30-14 over Haskell in 1990 and 49-7 over Hulbert in 1993…Talihina is in the playoffs for the 33rd time with a 41-31 record and state title in 1966.
