Muskogee’s Alyssa Wagner pitched five shutout innings and went 1-for-3 at the plate with a double and an RBI to lead the East to an 8-6 win over the West on Saturday afternoon in the Large school girls All State slowpitch softball game in Norman.
Tahlequah’s Shelbi Bowin finished 3-for-3 with an RBI and Boo Syrus, of Muskogee, went 2-for-3 and scored a pair of runs.
Muskogee coach Keith Coleman was awarded the Class 5A-6A District 4 Coach of the Year award. Tahlequah coach Ronnie Rodgers was named Class 5A-6A District 3 Coach of the Year.
