SHAWNEE (AP) — Keiton Page of Pawnee scored 37 points and Rotnei Clarke of Verdigris added 29 as Oklahoma beat Texas 121-101 on Saturday night in the annual Faith 7 all-star basketball game.
Clarke, who has signed with Arkansas, and Page, an Oklahoma State recruit, finished their high school careers as the top two scorers in Oklahoma prep history.
Page’s 37 points set a scoring record for an Oklahoma player in the Faith 7 game, but he didn’t take top scoring honors, as Texas’ Willie Warren set an all-time Faith 7 record with 41 points.
Warren, a 6-foot-4 guard, who starred at North Crowley High School in Fort Worth, Texas, also was the top scorer in the McDonald’s All-American game in March with 23 points. He has signed with Oklahoma.
The Faith 7 teams consist of graduated high school seniors.
