Three area prep players announced Tuesday where they will play collegiately when they sign their national letters of intent.
Hunter Harrison of Hilldale signed to play collegiately at Connors State College. Harrison was the ace of a Class 4A state champion pitching staff, posting a 12-1 record with 74 strikeouts and 17 walks and earned run average of 1.58.
Kara Linch and Jessica Bluebird of Sequoyah decided to play college softball at Neosho Community College. Linch, a three-year starter as an infielder, hit .416 with 22 RBIs, two HRs and 22 stolen bases. Bluebird had a 29-7 ecord as a pitcher last season with a 1.14 ERA with 160 strikeouts (65-17 career with 365 strikeouts).
All were All-Phoenix selections this past season.
