Rougher wrestlers take fourth in Sapulpa



Muskogee took fourth place at the 50th Jerry Billings Invitational at Sapulpa High School on Saturday.

Edmond North took first with 191 points, followed by Broken Arrow, and Union ahead of the Roughers, who had 137 points.

Jacobe Smith was first at 160 pounds, Dewaylon Barnes second at 145 and J.T. Andrews third at 170 pounds. Two Roughers wound up fourth with Matt Acee at 132 and Haden Kolmer at 182. Fifth at 220 was Nigel Harris and sixth at 195 was Carl Andrews.

Tahlequah was 14th in the 18-team field. Reece Davis was high finisher for the Tigers, second at 138 pounds.

Muskogee is at Jenks in duals on Tuesday and then goes to the tough Yukon Tournament this weekend.
