Class A
AREA IV, DISTRICT 5 – The Webbers Falls boys fell to No. 1 Weleetka 82-41 in the district final.
The Warriors are still alive as they will play an Area IV regional consolation game against Gans at 3 p.m. Thursday in Webbers Falls.
AREA IV, DISTRICT 7 – The Porum Panthers look to stay alive after losing to Stuart on Saturday. The Panthers (11-10) play at 3 p.m. Thursday at Moss against the Dewar-Moss loser.
Girls
Class A
AREA IV, DISTRICT 7 – The Porum girls fell 54-50 to host Stuart in a district final.
Keisha Miller’s 14 points led the Lady Panthers (11-11), who remain alive but will play a regional consolation game against Indianaola at Moss at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
Class B
AREA IV, DISTRICT 3 – The Midway Lady Chargers raced out to a 32-7 halftime lead and were never headed in capturing the district championship by beating Wapanucka 53-19.
Hailee Truesdell lead Midway (20-3) with 11 points while Joanna VanBrunt finished with 10 points.
The Lady Chargers will now face Victory Life Academy in an Area IV regional winners bracket game in Wapanucka at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Regular games
Tahlequah’s boys and girls lost to Oklahoma City Bishop McGuinness on Saturday in Tahlequah.
The Tigers’ boys lost to the Irish 69-28. McGuiness came in ranked No. 1 in the Okrankings.com Class 5A poll. Meanwhile, the Lady Tigers fell 51-47 to McGuinness.
