PITTSBURG TOURNAMENT — Braggs girls beat Haileyville 57-29 as Cassi Harris had 28 points and 14 rebounds for the Lady Wildcats (4-12). Braggs plays either Soper or Milburn at 1:40 p.m. today.

SEQUOYAH COUNTY TOURNAMENT — Vian’s boys were thumped by 4A No. 1 Roland 76-30 in one semifinal. In the other, Muldrow beat Sallisaw Central 68-55.

Roland beat Vian 59-43 in girls semifinals, leading by as many as 22 points as Vian (4-2) went cold from the field.

Nese Walters had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Wolverines, who  play Gans at 1:30 p.m. Saturday for third place. Roland plays Muldrow for the championship also on Saturday.

Today’s games have Stigler girls meeting Sallisaw Central at 6:30 p.m. and Stigler boys facing Sallisaw at 8 p.m. Both games are for consolation titles.

ARKANSAS RIVER SHOOTOUT — In boys action, the Warner Eagles (5-6) beat the Midway Chargers 64-20. Kyle Taylor led Warner with 14 points. Roper Selby topped the Chargers with nine. The Eagles continue play in the semifinals at 7:45  tonight against Oaks.

Meanwhile, Austin Wright scored 13 for Porum (6-4), which fell to Watts 63-52, and plays at  2:15 p.m. Saturday

In girls action, Okay beat Watts 65-44 in consolation play, snapping a four-game losing streak with a 15-5 third-quarter run after leading 33-30 at the half. Bristen Graves led the Lady Mustangs with 21, Courtney Smith had 16 and Robin Hammer 12. Okay plays Oaks in a 4 p.m. semifinal today.

Also, Midway’s Lady Chargers (11-2) defeated the Warner Lady Eagles (4-7) 52-33. Kristy Sawdel led Midway with 14 points. The Lady Chargers play Webbers Falls at 6:30 p.m. Friday. The Lady Eagles continue play at 4 p.m. today against Porum.

HENRYETTA TOURNAMENT — Class A No. 1 Weleetka beat Eufaula 49-40 in the boys semifinals. Cody Fairies led the Ironheads (5-5) with 17 points.  Jeremiah Winney led three Outlaws in double figures with 13. Eufuala plays for third at 5:30 p.m. Saturday against either Henryetta or Okmulgee.

The Lady Ironheads (6-4) beat Wilburton 48-43 as Alyssa Banks scored 26 points. Brooke Saxton had 14 for Wilburton (10-3). The Lady Ironheads will face Henryetta in the 7 p.m. championship game on Saturday.

LOCUST GROVE INVITATIONAL — Ketchum’s 1-2 scoring punch beat Keys 70-58 in a boys semifinal.  Trevor Eubanks had   20 points and Payton Ragsdale 18 for the Cougars in defeat but Ketchum had a game-high 28 from Tanner Mouse and Jeylyn Sharpe had 26. Keys girls will play  a consolation game tonight
