The Fort Faith column says to repent and be baptized. Church billboards advise reading “the red letters.” Fine, if you are a Jew alive in Christ’s earthly ministry under the law.
We live on this side of the finished work of the cross! God told Ananias in Acts 9:15, Paul is divinely appointed to take the Gospel to the gentile. What Gospel? According to 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, “For I delivered unto you first of all what I received.”
That Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and that He was buried and rose again on the third day. If one believes that Ephesians 2:8-9 confirms that we are saved by grace through faith and it is a free gift. One does not do anything for a gift, so take it by faith, believe it and see what happens.
