Band students participate in All-District band

— Fort Gibson High School Band Director LaNell Spyres said 10 band students participated recently in the Eastern District Honor Band held at Tahlequah High School Jan. 11-12.

They rehearsed with other band students from the Eastern District Band Association and presented a concert at the Tahlequah Performing Arts Center.  Middle school students were Adriana Salinas — clarinet, left, Maria Hernandez — baritone saxophone, Mikah Spyres — French horn, Hannah Hackworth — alto saxophone, and Chris Drake — tuba.
