Wally Waits, Muskogee-area historian, will be guest speaker at a meeting of the Fort Gibson Genealogy and Historical Society at 6 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church.
His talk will be based on his interviews on Fort Gibson history.
The building will be open for those who want to visit or do research at 5 p.m.
There will be potato soup and cornbread on the menu, with finger foods and desserts.
