The Fort Gibson Genealogical and Historical Society will have their monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Fort Gibson.
Wally Waits, retired from Muskogee Public Library in the genealogy department and history blog writer, will be the speaker this month.
Waits will be speaking on the 1911 deconstruction of the water reservoir on top of Agency Hill.
The genealogy library will be open at 5 p.m. for those who want to do research. The society will be furnishing pizza this month.
