Eight squads from Oklahoma and Arkansas attended a UCA Camp here June 8-10.
The Fort Gibson Middle School cheerleaders placed in every competition, winning:
• First in UCA Camp Champ Extreme Routine Competition.
• Third in UCA Camp Champ Cheer Competition.
• Second in UCA Home Dance Competition.
The squad was also given a trophy for receiving a Superior Rating every day at camp, which is the highest rating you can receive.
Rebecca Yandall, an eighth grader, made the All-American Team, which includes the best cheerleaders from around the nation. She has been invited to cheer at the Houston in the Thanksgiving Day parade.
