At its regular meeting June 8, the Fort Gibson Board of Education:
• Approved continuance of policy with OSIG for general liability, property, school board liability, and fleet coverage and OSAG for the worker’s compensation.
• Accepted the bid of Wilson, Dotson and Associates for the 2008-09 audit ad for the 2009-2010 estimate of needs.
• Accepted the resignation of Kevin Engle, Todd and Jane Phillips, and Mary Sanger.
• Approved the purchase of a used bus from ABC Co. for activity purposes. A cap of $190,000 was set for the purchase and it is to be paid from bond funds.
• Received a report that 200 students are enrolled in the district’s summer program.
• Approved employment of:
• Jaime Snyder, secondary math teacher/coach.
• Michele Underwood, secondary English.
• Jenny Krepps, vocal music.
• Summer employees: Brad Isbell, Mona Lashley and Gregg Moydell.
