Lifetime hunting, fishing license contest
The Fort Gibson Lady Tiger Basketball Team will once again be holding a drawing for an Oklahoma Lifetime Hunting and Fishing License ($800 value) at half-time of the girls’ championship game during the “Old Fort Classic” Basketball Tournament on Jan. 26.
Tickets for the drawing are now on sale and can be purchased from any Fort Gibson Lady Tiger Basketball player. Price of each ticket is $1.

Football booster club to meet
The Fort Gibson football booster club will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday in the stadium locker room.
Taxaide begins soon
AARP Taxaide volunteers will begin doing taxes the first Wednesday of February at Q.B. Boydstun Library, Fort Gibson. The hours will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through tax season.
Taxes will be electronically filed and done on a first-come, first-served basis.
Any who are interested in learning to prepare taxes can attend a class at the library in January.
