Students earn top ratings in music audition

Oklahoma Music Teachers Association sponsored its annual District Achievement Audition on March 6 at First Baptist Church. Judges were Carol Peterson and Joy Shrader of Broken Arrow.

Students earning a superior plus rating were Caitlin Felts, Drew Hutchinson, Jayden Williams, Rebekah Harlin, Jared Grooms, Camryn Runyan, Rachel Throgmorton, Cate York, Shy McLain, and Eric Breon.

Receiving a superior rating included Meredith Gilmartin, Jeramy Hunter, Bailey Tull, Jacob Burley, Anna Mix, Celeste Prentice, Rose Durr, Riley Marlar, Nathaniel Wadsworth, Grace Gibson, Michelle Grooms, Eli Breon, Ross Jardine, Bella Bradley, James Morris, Emily Burris, Laura Jardine, Emma Grooms, Aaron Abraham, Jamie Fernan, Allison Truong, Chris Gilmartin, Jonathan Hunter, Savannah Faught, Adarra Willis, Joannah Boughner, Peyton Chebahtah, Skylar Simmons, Brenden Martin, Nathan Harlin, Zechariah Wadsworth, Joanna Harlin, and Sara Wilson.

Teachers participating were Nedda Horvath, Grace Jones, and Nancy Shelton of Muskogee, Carolyn Stauffer of Eufaula, and Pat James of Oklahoma City.
