Be whisked away to a “Night in the Tropics” while helping the Kelly B. Todd Center.
A Caribbean dinner for 150 persons, consisting of Bahaman-basted succulent whole roasted hog and a variety of island side dishes and an open bar serving tropical drinks will be featured, along with music of steel drums, percussionists, horns and singers, such as salsa, mambo, rumba as well as Key West sounds of Jimmy Buffet.
The event is set for 6 p.m. June 22, 2013, at Three Forks Harbor.
Silent and live auctions also will help support the Kelly B. Todd Center, including a hunt at a Missouri hunting lodge as well as retreat time in the Colorado Mountains, according to a media release.
There will be an opportunity to enter and win in the Drawdown event that evening. A Drawdown is a donation drawing in which the last name drawn wins. In this case, half the cash pot will be the prize while the other half benefits the center.
The Kelly B. Todd Center provides rehabilitative services for children of Eastern Oklahoma regardless of the family’s financial means. Parents and family members also receive support from a community environment built around the camaraderie of caregivers, therapists and other families in the same situation. The center offers physical therapy to children with special needs.
Seating is limited. Special corporate tables are available for businesses or groups of eight, with advertising for the corporate sponsors.
Information and reservations: (918) 682-4720, (918) 683-6600 or (918) 683-4621.
